Allsorts Baby Girl Book

What a challenge this week at the Allsorts challenge blog !!! make a card or project but stamps are band !!! so I had to put my thinking cap on for this one, I could have just made a card from die cuts but that would have been to easy so I sat last night and made this book for a baby girl and not a stamp in sight !!
It has 4 pages cut from chipboard (by the lovely Garry !! thanks darling xx) I covered them with K&Co baby girl papers and decorated with loads of goodies from my stash; stickers, die cut, ribbons, silver plated charms, flowers, brads and embellishments galore !!! I bound the whole thing together with 2 hinged book binding rings and added lots of ribbon to decorate.
What a great challenge I really enjoyed making this, thanks for popping by to look.

DCD Summer Challenge

This is my second DT project for my other blog the Die cut Dreams challenge blog, I made this Summer note book using my lovely new stamps that I got from "Stamping up" I'm in the "Club 10" set up by "Stamping up" demonstrator Nicki who is fantastic !!!
Nicki sorts out all our Stamping up needs with the greatest of speed every month, so if you are in need of any SU products or need a link to the online catalogue Nicki is the girl to ask and I'm sure she will only be to happy to help.
The image and sentiment I have used here on this note book are both from the SU "Summer by the sea" stamp set I have coloured it with promarkers and layered it onto a die cut oval from my shop, added some card candy with double sided foam pads and glued the coloured image to the front of a note pad that I have covered with DCWV shell DP .....Makes a neat little gift don't you think ?! Have a great day

Take a card one step further

Just a quickie to show you how I recycled my last challenge card and made it into a calender to sell in my Die cut Dreams shop on eBay.
I made 2 holes at the top and set 2 large red eyelets with my Big bite tool and added some pink spotty ribbon from American crafts so it will hang up.
Then I added a layered die cut scalloped circle (available from my shop Die cut Dreams ) that I had stamped with a friends sentiment from Autumn leaves and finished off with a calender tab .....it makes a pretty neat gift don't you think, a bit like a card you can keep up all year round.

Smitten in love

There is a great sketch at theSugar bowl challenge this week and over at Copic creation challenge their theme is "Red & Pink with Hearts"
to make this I have used papers and the felt hearts from K&Co Smitten range , raspberry pink flitter glitter card ribbons from Poppicraft.
The cute Sugar Nellie I have coloured with my Copic markers in several shades of pink.

A Gift for a Friend

This week over at C.R.A.F.T challenge they want us to make a project with Embossing as you know I am bored with just making cards (and I have so many already made I don't know where to put them !! lol)
Anyway I have started to make other paper craft projects in a hope I can sell some in my eBay shop Die cut Dreams shop on eBay.
This little gift bag and memento book is completely handmade , to make it I used;
For the bag; 2 elegant rectangles 5" x 4" die cuts and run them through one of the new Quickutz embossing folders, cut out the oval handles with a punch and used a paper bag between the 2 die cuts to create the actual bag then I used distress ink around the edges and to decorate it I used some smaller die cut circles and stamps the Autumn leaves Friends sentiment on added a little more distress ink, I cut the butterflies from Bazzill card with the Quickutz butterfly die.
I finished the bag off with some ribbon and fluffy eyelash fibre, I was really pleased with it, but then I thought it needs something to pop inside so I made the small book from yet more die cuts punched a hole with my big bite machine added a 4" ball chain and a silver butterfly charm, it fits nicely inside the bag and it was quite a simple little gift to make a friend smile.
All the die cuts used are available from my shop
Die cut Dreams if you don't see the colour of size you want just ask we are always please to help.
Right I am off to the beach now have a great afternoon...........

Pamper day !!! Copic Challenge

This week over at the Copic colour challenge the colours to use are ; Not 3 colours I would normally put together so I struggled a little with this one, but I had a new stamp arrive from the USA yesterday its a cube stamp from "Art gone Wild!" it has 4 different stamps on it lipstick, nail polish, perfume (and a lovely handbag which I didn't use on this project) I stamped and then masked the perfume image so that the lipstick look like it was behind.
I coloured them using only the 3 colours required for the challenge and my blender pen, in fact I stamped it at home and then took the image with me when I went out yesterday and coloured it in while I was having a coffee in Costa coffee so I only took the 4 pens with me (I will colour anywhere !!! lol) when I got home last night I cut the pages and the chipboard covers to make my image into this little book which is bound together with 3 hinged book binding rings I then added ribbons from May Arts the stamped sentiment is from my favourite stamping lady Nicky at Stamping all day.
The glitter brads are from Making memories , flowers by prima, the shocking pink gems are from Kaiser and the cosmetic purse silver charm is from my shop Die cut Dreams, which I added to a little ball chain and hung from the top binding ring for a little extra bling !!
I hope you like it , Have a lovely day.
