Saturday Surprise !!!

I woke up on this gloomy saturday morning only to find that I have been given a special award from a special little crafty girl Zoe , Thank you so much Zoe you are such a sweetie.

Love is in the air

Love is in the air as Valentines day gets closer !!! I have made this "LOVE" chip board book for the new Challenge blog Creative Inspirations Challenge Blog run by the talented girls rozzy maxine jude Alyssa & Cheryl .

I used Making memories Cityscape floral cardstock in colours spotlight, steel and asphalt to cover the card stock , die cuts from my own range, DCWV vellum quotes, May arts sheer spotty ribbons , Bo Bunny brads , Doodlebug gems, Large prima flowers, the smaller flowers I bought from poppicrafts other bits and bobs came from my stash box.

Bags of Fun with my new Basicgrey Bittersweet papers

I have had Bags of fun this weekend making this 20 page Handbag shaped chipboard album.
The new Bittersweet papers from Basicgrey are sooo lovely, rich chocolates and pretty strawberry pinks and lovely classic pattens and plain distressed solid colours make them really yummy.
I cut the pages with a die that I designed myself , that cuts a square handbag , I used the swiss dots cuttlebug folder to emboss some of the card pages and I used my sewing machine to zig zag stitch the pages and I made pockets for 2 of the pages for tags etc.
Embellishing them with all sorts of stash (This was the fun part ); prima flowers , Bo Bunny antique brads & clipz, doodlebug gems, May arts ribbons were just a few of the things I used .
Then I punched holes with the big bite enabling me to bind the book using binding rings and added more ribbon to finish it off.
I hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Easter Bunny Business !!

Easter is a few months away yet but it won't be long before all those naughty yummy Chocolate Easter eggs are on the supermarket shelves!!! so to get you in the mood for Easter I thought you might like to see this Easter themed paper bag album I have made.
I used a 6"x6" paper bag album which I made with 3 brown paper bags , the papers I used are by Bo Bunny and so are the cardstock stickers, the die cuts are cut from custom made designer dies which I chalked and the ribbons are from May arts .
