A lovely card from Sue

Morning everyone , another beautiful day down here in Gosport the sun is shining and I am off to Southsea today window shopping !! lol well I might buy one of two things if they take my fancy.
I had this beautiful card in the post yesterday from the lovely lady who won my last blog candy ....Sue from Scoopysstuff she knows how I love the cute little house mouse stamps and this image is so sweet and coloured in to perfection. Thank you Sue that was really sweet of you and a lovely surprise too

Lovely Mermaid

I made this card from Sharon Armstrong's sketch she that she set for this weeks challenge over on the craftbubble site, I used the CC designs mermaid stamp again she is so sweet and I just drew a rock under her to sit her on before colouring the whole thing with my copic markers.

Flowers are Prima Hydrangea's and the large aqua gems are from Kaiser everything else was from my stash.

In the Pink for Winter

I made this card using the sketch over at Just Magnolia challenge blog, when I first saw it I thought it looked a little complected but once I got my thinking cap on I had fun with it.
You will be surprised to see I have used NO flowers and NO designer paper I just embossed and stitched some card stock and used a length of ribbon and 3 pearl hearts from my stash so its
quite plain and simple

Mermaid Friend 6"x6" Scrapbook Album

I used the New Mermaid stamp from CC Designs which was a "thank you" present from my friend Claire from Claire Ellen Designs and coloured it with Copic markers and mat & layered it on to an embossed fancy panel the on to the front cover

The flowers are Prima hydrangeas

Glitter fish brad is from Doodlebug Designs

I bound the book using 2 hinged book rings and added ribbons from May Arts & American crafts to decorate.

The glossy sentiment is from Cloud9and everything else I used was from my stash.

This is my entry for the All That Scrap Challenge this week they ask you not to use any Dezigner paper on your creation.

Penny Black 6"x 6" album

I made this book for the Penny Black Challenge where this week they are asking you to make something using the recipe "3 Ribbons....2 Flowers.....1 Pin/Charm"

I used the PB Bitty bear Angel stamp and coloured it with Copic markers and mat & layered and stitched it to the front cover

I bound the book using 3 hinged book rings and added ribbons from May Arts (and the butterfly ribbon was a birthday gift from Liz at Lace Ribbons Buttons & Bows )to decorate.

Girly Cuddly Page !!!

This is a cuddly page (4"fat page) I made for the monthly swap I do with my friend Jo, we take it in turns to choose the theme each month and this month Jo chose Pink & Girlie which is a favourite of mine so I enjoyed making this and it gave me an opportunity to use one of my new girlie stamps by "Close to my Heart" that I bought from the USA.

Over on the Funky Fairys Challenge blog this weeks theme is "Girly" and over on the Whiff of Joy Challenge blog this week they have a fab sketch buy the lovely Donalda I flipped the sketch to accommodate my image.
This card is also for the Passion for Promarkers challenge where this week the colours to be used are Rose Pink & Lime Green.
To Make this card I used an olive green 6"x6" card blank

House mouse ; White on White, CCC Polka Dots

This weeks challenge over at House Mouse Monday Challenge is White on White.....the only colour you are aloud to use is to colour the house mouse image everything else must be White, "Yikes" I thought I don't do much white normally but here is my effort coloured with my copic markers.
And over at Creative Card Crew they want polka dots this week.
I also used 3 different cuttlebug embossing folders (swiss dots, Baby & bundle of joy) to add some depth and texture and Blossom Nesties to cut the shape, added a white button brad, white flower and sheer white polka dot ribbon to tie in with the CCC challenge.

Its all Black and White with Friends !!!

Chocs Away !!!!

Oh what a day I have had .......Woody my youngest son has caught the promarker bug ever since my friend Vikki sent him his first promarker last week as a little treat he has been bugging me to buy him some more , constantly singing "one is the loneliest number" etc referring to his one lonely yellow promarker in his otherwise empty box awaiting for other promarkers to join it (cheeky little monkey) so this afternoon I have agreed to give him £20 to add to the £3 he has burning a hole in his pocket so he can get more promarkers, and bless him for the past 2 hours since we returned from the beach he has sat studying the promarker colour chart I downloaded from Sharon for him, he is so excited I don't think he will sleep until I order them !!!
I made this card from the sketch above which was set by Sharon Armstrong for her new monthly I ♥ Promarkers challenge which is on face book and also has a blog dedicated to it I Love Promarkers challenge and also for this weeks Penny Black Challenge where they ask you to make a card on the theme of Soft and Sweet using a PB stamp so I chose this cute image called Sweet Love and coloured it with my Promarkers to fit in with both challenges

Tea for 2 challenges

I made this card following a sketch from Katiejane for the Lets get Stamping weekly challenge Katie put a twist on this weeks card to use a tea bag somewhere on the card, be it tea bag folding (which I don't do probably coz I wouldn't know where to start !!! lol) or tea bag staining of your paper or what ever but I found these little tea bag stamps I bought from a lovely lady called Elli at The Rubber Bandit / Not just stamping Elli has some great unmounted stamps you should pop over to have a peek.
Also over at the OCC's this week their theme is "Triple Play" you need to have a minimum of 3 embellishment elements for me its flowers gems and ribbons

Paws for thought !!!

Who let the dogs out over on the The Corrosive Challenge blog !!!! that's their theme this week.
Paper Blooms asked for Animals and a Punny Sentiment and the challenge over at CCEE Stampers was to make a card with a footprint on it there is one on my Bo Bunny brad.
And at Lili of the Valley the theme is animals this week and at Dutch Dare Card Challenge #56 - they would like us to use Die cuts or punches so this is my card for these challenges.
The die cuts dog I have used is from my shop Die cut Dreams.

Perfect day

I have had a lovely day today , first thing this morning I had this lovey card in the post from Tracy thanking me for her candy, it was Tracy who won second prize in my candy draw earlier this week.
And then this afternoon Garry and I went into Gosport to meet Sue and her husband at Costa coffee, Sue won 1st prize in my candy draw and as she doesn't live too far away instead of posting Sue's prize we arranged to meet for coffee and we got on like a house on fire , I did take my camera but we talked so much I forgot to take any photo's !!! lol

Anya in the Sun

Well after my last card I thought I would go in the opposite direction and head for the sunshine with Anya for the Roses on Paper Challenge Blog their theme this week is summer/vacation.
And over at Stampin´for the Weekend they are giving us a choice of 3 song titles to take inspiration from .....I chose Seasons in the Sun by Terry Jacks to inspire my Anya in the sun card.
I coloured Anya with copic markers and used glitter papers from DCWV citrus stack, I stitched all the pieces together on the sewing machine, the flowers are prima and the brad is by Doodle bug design, I also used one of my cuttle bug embossing folders for the back ground, I hope this card has warmed you up after my earlier Christmas card !! lol

On the Button for Christmas

I made this card by following the sketch on the Copic Colour Challenge blog and over at the Just Magnolia challenge blog this week the theme is buttons, so I have used 3 ornate gold buttons on this card I had to remove the shank from the back with a pair of wire cutters and I was pleased with the luscious rich look they gave my card. Also over at Loonie challenge, Cute Card Thursday and Three Clovers they are all celebrating Christmas in July
The papers I used are from the Cricut Christmas cheer pad by Rob & Bob, Flowers from Prima, the stamp is from my friend Nicky at Stamping all day.
I coloured the Tilda with candy cane stamp with Copic markers and added a little Sakura clear star gelly roll pen to the white of the candy cane to give a little sparkle, it doesn't show up to well in the photo but its there !! I know its a bit early for Christmas but I just love this Tilda stamp and have been looking for her for ages and just found her on a craft web site in cork over in Ireland and she just arrived so I had you use her today .........so let me wish you a mid-summer Christmas !!!!

A Spoon Full of Lovely Lilac Sugar

I made this card for the A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge, they have a great sketch on their blog this week and I enjoyed following it.
I made this 6"x6" card with deep purple bazzill card which I screwed up and then sanded to distress it, I also used some lilac stripy/swirly card I downloaded from PP, I zig-zag rough stitched all the layers for a shabby look, I coloured the hanglar stamped image in with Copic markers.
The flowers are Prima Hydrangeas, card candy, the pearl brads and spacers are from my stash

A flutterby in the sugar bowl !!

Morning all hope your having a lovely day where ever you are, down here on the south coast the sun is shining and its another beautiful day. Here is my entry for flutterby wednesday over on Danni´s Dreams blog where this week we are asked to use Brown & Pink in our creation as well as a butterfly or fairy as always and over at the The Sugarbowl challenge this week there is a great sketch to follow and they also want us to use ribbon and/or bows so this is my entry for there too.
To make this card I used ;
A 6"x 6" card blank , raspberry pink flitter glitter card, the paper is from the Blossoms & Butterflies stack by DCWV.
The ribbon is Bo Bunny and the flitter glitter butterfly I cut with the Martha Stewart Monarch butterfly punch.
The stamp I used is one of the second series Gorjuss Girls and I coloured her with Copic markers.

Sitting pretty with kitty

Over on the Just Magnolia Monthly Challenge blog they are asking us to alter a a brown paper bag , I had real fun making this, and guess what NO papers !!! and you know how much I love my papers, but I thought I would try something different so I had a play this a bottle of Pale ale Memory mist and a shoe box , I cut 5 pieces of white 5.5" square card and rounded the corners put them in the shoe box one at a time and spritzed them then I stamped the Tilda's and the swirls etc in rich coco mementos ink and then I coloured the 2 main Tilda's and the cats with neutral shades of Copic markers and distressed the edge of the card with Tim Holtz distress inks and cut'n'dry foam.
I also cut a chip board primitive heart with a Sizzix die and painted it with Tim Holtz distress crackle paint and then sprayed it with glimmer mist added a flower and some ribbon to make an embellishment for the front.
I finished it off with Prima flowers , MM Paperie mocha brads, some Bo Bunny card stock stickers, some large champagne colour Prima crystals and tired the whole thing up with vintage brown gingham ribbon.

"Let it Snow".............But not today please !!!!!

For this card I followed the great sketch over at sketch saturday challenge and at the Whiff of Joy Challenge blog this week the theme is 'piercing' so this is my WoJ entry as well.
To make this card I used HOTP snowflake papers which I distressed the edge of.
I also used Aqua flitter glitter card and blue ricrac ribbon, large aqua Kaiser crystals.
The sentiment stamp is by Autumn leaves and I have stamped it with Brilliance pearl ink.
The image stamp is unmistakeably Whiff of Joy and I have coloured it with copic markers, and I finished of with a sentiment on dymo tape
