WOYDW !!! THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH !!!!

Its that time of week again for Whats on your desk Wednesday !!!!
OMG !!! Garry took my photos tonight and he has gone just a little to far , I said to him this morning I was gonna tidy up this morning and again this afternoon I was gonna tidy and then it just got to late so I said to Garry I just won't join in this week and went off to make a cuppa ....when I got back the photos were taken and I had my orders to post them and show you the real me !!! I know its no excuse but I have been so busy creating my challenges etc I didn't look behind me to see the mess I was creating over my shoulder !!!
I have the worst habit of getting "stuff" out and not putting it away, I did get some good advice from my friend Tracy about tidying away after each creation which I did for a while but I have lost the plot again and really need to put tomorrow aside (or the whole of next week !!!lol) and have a good "put away session" before I drown in stash ......I don't think I even thought it was that bad until I sat down and viewed the photos on screen !!! lol
But after saying all that in my own defence I don't think you can have a tidy desk and a creative mind they just don't go together do they ......come on girls someone please help me out and agree with me !!! lol Please ??!!
Another thing that makes a mess is when the postie delivers new stash I have to keep it out to look at it and sometimes I have even been caught stroking new 12x12 papers !!! lol sick I know but I do love new "stuff" and I need it to be close by so I can look at it !! he he

Christmas Gift Bag

Over at the Winter Wonderland challenge they would like you to create a Gift Bag, a Gift Box, or just decorate your own wrapping paper so I have made this cute little bag from 2 of my die cut elegant rectangles using a punch to cut out the handles, I used the glittered Christmas tree DP from the MME new Christmas range.
Tuesday taggers challenge have a "Christmas tree" theme which you can see I have on the lovely glittered MME DP and on the chip bard sentiment tag.
And at Simon says challenge they have a Red & Green colour combo great for christmas projects. While at Spoon full of Sugar challenge the theme is "Christmas" so I used this cute little Hanglar Christmas girl stamp coloured her in with copic markers and mat & layered the image onto a piece of colour co-ordinations green card that I had distresses the edge of with a Heidi swapp distress tool, I tied up the bag with some cotton burgundy ribbon tape and a length of olive green ricrac tape and added a small poinsettia Christmas flower, now its ready for a small Christmas gift.

Beary merry Chirstmas

Morning all its a bit overcast down here in Gosport today and so the only good light I had to take these photos was on Garry's old work bench and I have just notice in the photos how scratched up the wood is, that's because he cuts all the chip board shapes for our shop on this surface and uses a Stanley knife, luckily its not my dinning room table !! Anyway this is my first creation of the day my new Christmas stamps arrived yesterday from Pink Gem and they are lovely.
To make this door hanger I used the Christmas Snow Cuttlebug embossing folder,
Die cuts from my shop, the sentiment stamp is from Stamping all day, I coloured the lovely Pink Gem stamp with promarkers in colours Cool Aqua and Apricot as those are the colours to use over at this weeks Passion for Promarkers challenge and I used some glamour dust on the gloves and mistletoe berries to add some sparkle I also added some gems to the snowflakes and 2 shinny vanilla coloured glass gems to give even more sparkle as this is the theme over at the Creative card crew challenge this week.
I also followed the lovely sketch at SophistiCat challenge and the theme this week at My Time to craft challenge is "Snow Buddies".
The ABC challenge is back with a great new DT and this week its "E" for Embossing.
Well I think that's enough challenges for one project don't you !!! lol

Goth Girl !!

This week at SophistiCat challenge they have a great sketch to follow and at Craft challenge they ask for a card of project using no DP this week, while over at Our Creative Corner challenge the theme is Monochromatic and at the Simon says challenge I am trying to help them to hit 200 entries so this is another one for them, their theme this week is stitching and I think I am all stitched out now girls !!! so why don't you stitch and stamp something to help the team over at Simon says challenge reach there target .

One of those days !!! lol

Morning ladies ..........I got up this morning looked in the mirror and thought who the hell is that old woman !!! lol I had the worst nights sleep ever and this morning I feel like I have been kicked from Gosport to Scotland and back....I ache all over, so god only knows where my dreams took me last night coz when I went to bed I felt fine .................maybe its delayed shock after going to Slimming world yesterday only to find I have put on 5lbs in the last 2 weeks !!! gulp, its crisp breads and water from now on to get the pounds off again !!
Well to buck myself up this morning I though I would throw myself straight into a challenge or two and this new CC Designs stamp I got last week from Crafts U love just summed me up this morning !!! I coloured her with copic markers and punched some flowers with an SU punch and the leaves with a Martha Stewart punch. The butterfly I cut with a Quickutz die.
The Sentiment stamp is by Nicky at Stampingallday .
Over at Stamptacular Sunday challenge this week the theme is "TAG! You’re It!" so you need to use a tag on your creation and at the Simon says challenge they are trying to hit 200 entries so this is another one for them, their theme this week is stitching and I have used herring bone stitch here on my tag.
And last but not least at Flutter By Wednesday challenge you must use flowers along with a fairy or butterfly.
Well after that I think another black coffee is in order and that might just perk (sorry) me up ready to face the rest of the day, have fun

Tilda Sitting Pretty in Pink

Well it took me a day to get back into the swing of being home again but the washing is all done and I'm free to craft again.

So here goes, over at the Just Magnolia challenge this week they have a colour combo challenge its Pink & Grey with black if you would like to add it.

And at Paperplay challenge they want spots !! while over at the Stamp something challenge the team would like you to use a favourite sketch, one you made up or one you just love using, this one I made up myself.
Right now what did I use to make this one ;
A 6"x6" sheet of thin chip board and 2 6"x6" sheets of Bazzill card , stitched them together to make the baseThe Tilda stamp is from the new yummy range from Magnolia I coloured her with Copic markers and ripped around the edge then I used Black Soot Tim Holtz distress ink to age the edge, and stitched it on the sewing machine.
The ribbon is from May Arts and the tulle and flower is from the lovely Tabby
The spotty card I printed out myself and the sentiment is from a K&Co Beyond postmark quotable pad. Pearls and eyelets from my stash.
Well now Vikki and I have to get back to the job of choosing our new DT we have it down to a short list now but need to make the all important final decisions which I can tell you is not an easy job as all the entries were spectacular!!! back later with more news on the team.

An Angel To Watch Over You

Over at Sugar bowl challenge this week there is a great sketch to follow and the team would like to use paper piecing , now I did the paper piecing bit on the previous post with the gorguss girl stamp which was to be my entry but me being a bit forgetful I didn't use the provided sketch !!! lol trust me you all know what I am like............So I had to start again but it gave me a chance to use one of my new Sugar Nellie stamps, isn't she just fantastic.
Also over at La La Land challenge the theme is also paper piecing.
And over at Stamping sisters in Christ challenge they would like you to make something for someone to let them know you are thinking of them.
I have paper pieced her dress with the very soft patterned Regency DP from Papermania and I used Copic markers to colour the rest of her.
The other papers I have used are BG Stella and pink co-ordinations all other bits and bobs are from my stash and I have finished off with lots of sewing on the machine and distressing round the edge to give this wall hanger a truly shabby look & feel.

Autumn Friends

This week over at the Sketch & Stash challenge they have a fantastic Sketch to follow this week and at Paperplay challenge they want spots which you can see feature on my American crafts ribbon and lastly at the Allsorts challenge this week the them is Autumn and lastly at La La Land challenge the theme is paper pieceing.
To make this wall hanger I used a die cut chipboard wall hanger kit and other die cuts from my shop ribbons from American crafts and MayArts, the rose is from Tabby and the leaves I cut with my new McGills punch I bought while on holiday, the sentiment is from K&Co and the papers are from Blueberry hill.
The image is of course one of the Gorjuss Girls
and I have paper pieced her coat, hat and boots with regency DP from papermania and coloured the rest of here with promarkers.

Door Hanger Kit Candy

I'm feeling in a giving mood today !! lol ......so I thought I would make up a little kit , as you all know (if you have been reading my blog) I have been a bit fed up with making cards lately and so I have been making chipboard wall hangers and door hangers so I have pull this kit together to give someone else a chance to make one up , in the kit there is one chipboard hanger and 2 card hangers to cover the chipboard and more than enough stuff to embellish the hanger and probably decorate a couple of cards as well , there is 3 lengths of ribbon/fibre, die cuts , stamped images and punched flowers.

Honey I'm Home !! With Candy !!

Well I am home after having a fantastic week away, we were so lucky to have such beautiful weather it was so lovely we could have been abroad we all topped up our tans and look really healthy.
Now lots of you guessed the British island we were on ...yes it was The Isle of Wight but the first person to guess that we were staying in Gurnard was Denise from Paper pondering in Oregon USA ....well done Denise please send me your address and I will send you your holiday candy pictured above.
We stayed at the luxurious Gurnard Pines resort & Leisure club, if you are heading off to the Isle of wight for a holiday or short break I can fully recommend Gurnard pines, we have stayed on the IOW about 12 times now at 10 different places and this was by far the best place we have stayed, I am sure we will be going back time after time.
Well its another great day so I am off to soak up some rays down on our local beach now so catch you later..........enjoy your afternoon

Hi everyone just a quick post and a bit of a quiz type candy I'm on holiday in the UK but not on the mainland , (some of you will know where as I have been here before) but I have never stayed in this village on this part of the island before , I am not going to say where I am its for you to guess where I am !!! So the first person to guess the place (or if no one guesses it will be the person who guesses nearest to where I am) I try to post a scenic photo tomorrow but there wont be any clues in it so start guessing now.
Whats the prize CANDY??? well I will be craft shopping for something while I am here and let you know what it is when I have it and try to post you a photo of that too.

More Clues; Where am I Candy

Its been a beautiful summers day today and we spent most of it on the beach, my 2 boys have been swimming is the sun warmed sea, Garry dozed and topped up his tan while I sat and coloured with my promarkers soaking up the sun.
But where were we ? well so far some of you have guessed the correct British Island we are on but no one has guessed the name of the village although some have come very close.
So here are a few photo clues , this the beach in the village which has a sailing club (I have had to crop the village name out of the photo on the sailing club) and this beach has the only human sun dial on the island (as far as I know).
We are are not far from the capital town of the island where we visited the oldest pub on the Island yesterday (circa 1648) The castle inn which is reported to be haunted and the barman told us spooky stories of ghostly sightings !!!
