WOYDW

Well this is my desk today a huge mess I need to have a BIG sort out, but not today as I'm gonna have a crafty day all day playing with my "Stuff"
My car has gone for a service so I'm not going anywhere, Reid's gone bowling, Woody's here with me he chose 4 DVD's from blockbusters that will keep him quite for a while and Garry's playing golf after work, so all I have to do is make lunch for Woody and me later and I can craft the day away !!
Whats on my desk amongst the mess today ?...........well I have a new machine that just arrived from the USA yesterday Its the Zutter Distrezz-it-all and its marvelous not available here in the UK yet but I'm sure it will be popular when it is, you know how much I love the shabby distressed look well this takes all the pain out of it leaving you less distressed !!! lol and there is lots less mess too, you can see the effect you get from using it lightly on the edges of card stock in the photo but you can get a much more distressed look with it, check it out on the You Tube you'll be amazed.
Lots of you have been asking where I get the fabric labels from well this is what the packet looks like I don't know where you can buy them in the UK as I bought mine in the USA , but they are lovely and I'm sure you will find them in some of the big craft shops if not on-line.
Also lots have been asking where I bought the little doilies from , well I got them on eBay but not sure who from as I bought them last year but they are just regular catering doilies.
Hope you have a lovely crafty day and if you feel like showing your desk , post your photo on your blog and pop over to Julia's blog and leave a link in a comment on on the WOYDW post so we can all come and have a peek at what you've been buying or creating today.

Distress machine looks like fun... fabric labels look great...
If the desk was too neat then you wouldn't have as much time to craft... you'd be wasting it cleaning up!!!!

OMG your tax return arrived too - do it, get it out of the way!! Like the sound of your new toy; those EK Success products are avaialble here from a couple big wholesale only places, so I guess people who want them need to pretty please their retailers!

too much nice 'stuff'!! I think I want a pen like yours, then no one can nick it, and say it's theirs!

Another one here who's first thought upon looking at your desk was what's that pink thing? LOL might be worth thinking about because I love the distressed look but not the work that it needs.

Kaz said...

LOL did you get the distrezzer for your birthday? I always prepare myself for coming over to yours on a Weds as there's usually something new to see and you didn't fail me again!
And look at you with your posh pen!! xxx

well - being the observant person that I am, I notice that in the first pic, there is nothing in the cup... on the last pic - there is something showing... now, were those pics taken the other way round??? Sad aren't I.

Anyway, I love the stuff you have bought from the U.S. - I love that you shop internationally LOL!!! My kids could distress a sheet of paper at 100 paces - or is it that they only have that affect on me LOL...

You have the most amazing "stuff" on your work table. I'm a paper crafter, for the most part, but I don't have any cool tools that look like yours.

This is my first ever WOYWW and I am having the best time seeing what others are making. Glad to meet you.

What an interesting machine! Whatever will they come up with next? I would imagine it does make a bit of a mess though as it chomps through the paper. Lovely busy desk as usual.
