"Mum I need !!?"

Aren't kids just adorable even at 7am on the last day of school ...you gotta love them !!
yesterday morning my youngest son Woody woke me up to ask "Mum a boy and a girl in my class are leaving to live in America today !! and I never gonna see them again!! can you pleasssssse make me a couple of card mum !!" , now I might get up every week day morning about 7.30 am but the truth is although I'm up and walking around I don't actually wake up until about 9am !! lol but with the aid of my little helper fetching me dies and stamps ribbons and bead these 2 door hangers were produced in about 10 minutes flat !!! and by 8am Woody had them packed in his bag and he was on his way to school (not before I snapped a photo of our 10 minute marvels !! he he )............I was informed that they were received with thanks
Woody looked at me with his big brown doe eyes and said "Mum next time I need an order I'll give you more notice" !! lol, Bless him !!!

10 minutes? Wow! I know I'm up early (thanks to the littlies) but there's no way I could create something that beautiful in that time. You are amazing. It's official.

I would be proud of these anytime never mind being made in the zombie mum state, know that well, and the last minute order. I remember my wonderful son giving me a little more notice 2 and a half hours when he was 4 wanting a sewn card for his teacher he meant cross stitch of something for when I picked him up, I did manage it and had a migraine as a result. The things you do for the love of your sons. He still gives me card orders and the notice is usually a little more, a day or so but I do occassionally get the same short notice, I think the positive side to this is that we are bringing our sons up to know how caring it is to give and for that we should be proud even if we are on auto pilot sometimes. Thanks for your very kind comment about my pink card too. Hugs Julye

Yessss a door hanger will surely stick around longer than a card, especially for kids! Great idea! So funny, as I too am awake at 6-7 am daily, eyes open, legs moving, but nothing filtering !!! Milk & cartoons for one kid, diaper change for the next & coffee for mom. I am UP shortly thereafter!! LOve the story!

so fun to read about you and your sons! lol
"cool" creations! I want to say how cute they are but wondering if that's acceptable to boys! I'm a mom to all girls! So fun to have grandsons now though! I'm learning!

Oh yes that sounds about right Susie, but at least he has said he'll give you more notice in future. Great doorhangers too, better than just giving them a card :-)
