Stamptacular- Tilda's got the Winter Blues !!

The theme this week at the Stamptacular Sunday challenge is WINTER BLUES! which fits my mood right down to the ground as I will be blue until the spring has sprung !! lol I really dislike the 3 months that follow Christmas ...cold and dreary but pretty little Tilda looks all wrapped up to keep out the winter blues don't you think.
To colour Tilda I used Copic markers, The DP is BoBunny and the die cuts are from Die cut Dreams

Candy Cane in a Winter Wonderland

Over at the Winter Wonderland challenge this week the theme is "Candy cane , red & white" not only that they have a blog hop and its their very first one so its kinda special.
To make this card I used one of last Christmas Whiff of joy stamps coloured (badly !!! lol,I don't like red!!) with Copic markers , the sentiment stamp is from Magnolia stamped on a nestie tag and a distressed mat. All die cuts used are from my shop Die cut dreams and the DP is from DCWV.

Blooming Good Friends

This is my entry into the new Totally Paper Craft Challenge that started yesterday the first challenge theme is "Friends"
I have used this lovely Stamping Bella image coloured it with Copic markers.
The stamp I used to to make the background is from the set of "Conversation Dots" from Hero Arts.
The flower I made from Designer polka dot tissue paper, I punched it with my SU scalloped circle punch and scrunched them up and layered them before stitching a button to the center

Miss you Mum !!

To make this card I used one of Alison Acton's beautiful new stamps from Whiff of Joy I coloured it with Copic markers and distressed all the edges with Tim Holtz inks before stitching on the sewing machine.
The flower I made by punching scalloped circles of Blueberry Hill paper and scrunching them up then adding a sewn butter to the center.
The base card is just half a sheet of 12"x12" soft petrol coloured textured card stock folded in half to made a 6"x6" card

Chocolate Christmas

The theme for this weeks challenge is Non traditional Christmas,
So I went for a chocolate Christmas !! lol
To make this card I used the cute "Roo-cat Sliding" from Prairie fairy isn't he fun
I coloured him with Copic markers and distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Distress ink and used my Heidi Swapp distress tool on the edges of the designer paper which is from Rusty pickle, I also used some MME boarders.
Chocolate flitter glitter card cut with my MS snowflake punches.
Flowers by Prima and and the fancy brad is Paperie Mocha by Making Memories
The sentiment stamp is from Magnolia stamped on a nestie die cut fancy tag and its all sewn together on my sewing machine.

The Way To A Mans Heart !!!

Oh isn't that just the truest saying ever, men love their food and I'm sure all you girls will be cooking up something yummy for your man this valentines day.
Well I think Tilda has cooked up these heart shape cookies for the love of her life "Edwin" for Valentines don't you !!? lol This is an old Magnolia stamp but I still love her.
I have coloured Tilda with Prisma Pencil this time just for a change and highlighted with a little pale grey Copic marker to add a shadow, the flourish stamp is from Hero Arts Stamped with Tim Holtz distress ink which I also used to distress the papers.
I used my Heidi Swapp distress tool to rough up and distress the edges of the old DCWV paper from the Kitchen stack that I have had for some time now but was saving them for ...well you know how it is !!! lol .
I also punched the flowers and leaves from the same paper
The little wooden button was given to my by a lady on eBay who I bought some other bits from.
Other tools I used were an MS boarder punch and of course as my Sewing machine

Rose's Are Red Violets are Blue

This is the card I made for my DT at Susie’s Sassy challenge isn't this a cute image the stamps is from C.C. Designs its called Swiss Miss Rosalie with Roses she is a dream to colour I used Copic markers this time and the papers are by BoBunny from the heart throb collection the flowers are by Prima, the lovely brads are from Doodlebug designs.
The other stamps (sentiments and hearts etc) and the punches I used are all from SU.

Just The Two Of Us

Hi I am totally in love with the new spring set of CC Designs Sugarplums aren't they just adorable !!
For this one I have used Copic markers to colour and distressed all the edges with Tim Holtz old paper Distress ink before stitching.
The die cuts are from my shop and the paper is from the capsule collection pad the pink card is SU texture card.
I used the MS lace punch and the flowers were a Christmas present from Denise, Tab gave me the Heart pins last year but I have been hanging on to them for valentines and the silver butterfly charm is from my shop.
I would have had this posted earlier coz I coloured it last night left it on my desk but came back to find my lovely thoughtful husband had made me a black coffee but hadn't realized he had dripped one splodge of coffee right in the middle !!! bless his heart, but I didn't tell him off ....now that's real love isn't it !! he he

ATS Challenge Spring Emma

Afternoon all I hope you are all well today, we are having a bit of a grey day down here in Gosport no rain but it looks like it might later or even snow its that cold !!
For this card I used a cute C.C. Designs stamp from the new spring sugarplum kit , I coloured her with Copic markers and added a few flowers to make this globe card for this weeks ATS Challenge where this week the theme make a globe shape card.

Hang Up Your Heart To Say "I love You!!"

Hi everyone, I have used another of Jolanda downloads from the Cards etc shop to make this hanger, I printed the heart download out on polka pink card and polka white card and on plain white card and cut and layered all 3 to make the heart then I cut by eye the large black heart out of thick black card then U distressed the edge of the black heart with my Heidi Swapp distress tool and then stitched round it on my sewing machine.
The flowers are a mixture of Prima and Petaloo, the brads are more of my Christmas present from my DT Denise xx
To finish it off I added a thin string of small glass crystals to hang it up
This was so simple to make and is a nice big size of approx 8"x8" but the beauty of the download is that you can make it any side you want.

WOYDW Chocolates or Not !!?

Morning ladies another Wednesday here already the weeks are flying by spring will be here soon and I can't wait I hate the cold and its reading -2 on my computer widget here in Gosport and Garry has gone to work and left the top window open in the lounge (which I can't reach to close) and I'm freezing ...wait till he gets home !!! Grrrrr
Well anyway I'm back down off cloud 9 this week after my 5Min's of fame in the Magnolia ink Mag and there's not much going on my desk today I am fairly tidy, although nothing has changed in my storage space that I showed you last week I have sorted out a bit but don't you find in order to sort out you need to make more mess well that's the stage I am at at the moment over there.
I wanted to show you what naughty Vikki sent me as a pressie see the lovely box of chocolates on my desk well would you believe they are fake !!! lol they look so real and my eyes lite up when I opened them only to find they are chocolate fondant flavor lip gloss inside (which is lovely) but a great disappointment when one is all excited and craving chocolate !!! but it wasn't all disappointment as Vikki also got me a lovely House mouse stamp its the one with the bear in the car with the roof rack piled high and the lovely girl also got me a Rubber Romance stamp too so she is a good girl and I totally forgive her for the fake chocs !! he he xx

Puppy Love !!!

Evening all hope you are all happy tonight well I am, a lovely lady called Jolanda from the Netherlands saw my card in the Magnolia ink magazine last week and contacted me asking me if I would like to become a creative designer for her shop Cards etc shop after giving it lots of thought as you know how busy I am I decided that I would be delighted. Jolanda's designs are really cute and she has lots of new ideas, and you will be able to see them here on my blog as I use them to make examples for Jolanda's shop gallery as well as in Jolanda's shop Cards etc shop .
Here is my first card I made with Jolanda's lovely Boomer download its fantastic for Valentines card.

ATS Challenge

Morning all I hope you are all keeping warm its still so cold down here in Gosport and quite a grey day so the light was not perfect for this photo but I don't think its going to get any better today
For this card I used the cute C.C. Designs Swiss Miss Rosalie with Roses stamp, I coloured her with Copic markers and distressed the edge of the heart with Tim Holtz fired brick colour distress ink
The pink paper is BasicGrey Bitter sweet and the chocolate card I printed out myself a while ago but can't remember where its from.
I stitched round all the edges on my sewing machine as usual.
The sentiment is a woven label by Making Memories, flowers from Prima and the flocked brad is by Deja Views (my sweet girl). And to finish off I added 3 red Crystal gems from MAMBI.
Its my entry for this weeks ATS Challenge blog where this week the theme is a colour combo of pink, chocolate and red .

Chocolate In My Heart

Today I'm in the mood for love !!! lol I met my darling husband 7 years ago today so we always celebrate the 25th of January as if it was our "other" anniversary (well I'm a bit of a princess and the queen gets 2 birthdays so why not !!! lol) anyway we didn't do the card thing but we will have a nice meal to celebrate tonight.

Gingerbread Christmas club

Recycled Sprout !!

Morning everyone this week over at the Die cut Dreams challenge blog the theme is recycle it and over at the Tuesday taggers challenge they want us to use left overs so on this card I stamped this lovely new sprout from The Greeting farm on brown paper that a parcel had been sent to me wrapped in and coloured her with Copic markers.
All the other bits I used to make this card were laying about on my desk except the boarder which I punched with my MS punch and the flower are from Prima

I'm trying my hardest not to show off, but I can't help it I am so happy and proud I have been published again in Magnolia Ink magazine issue#2.
I was thrilled to be in the last issue and never dreamed it would happen again so you can imagine my joy this morning when issue #2 dropped on my door mat.
The magazine is fantastic and full of tutorials, tips and ideas, not only that it's jam packed with inspiration and beautiful cards and projects from other very talented crafters .....you've just got to get your hands on a copy

Stamptacular Friendship

This is my card for the Stamptacular Sunday challenge this weeks theme is Friendship and you can only use Black, White and silver
To make this card I used;
New yummy Designer textured paper from the Black Market Paper society it is beautiful ....expensive but divine (and double sided too) this ones called Ebony & Alabaster.
The flowers are from prima and the beautiful big Crystal brads were part of my Christmas present from one of my lovely DT's Denise and I added some silver card candy to the corners .
The stamp is by the wonderful Dawn Houser I adore her style.
I simply distressed the edges of the card with Tim Holtz black soot distress ink before stitching everywhere I could !! lol on my sewing machine.
