I finished it with a stitched edge to frame it , hope you like it

WOYDW? - Flowers

Morning girls we have nasty wind down here in Gosport ....that's the weather not me personally !!! lol
Its a grey old day I have been up since 4.30 ish with Woody having Night terrors I think its coz big brother is away and he's worried about him, bless him.
Anyway its Wednesday again so its desk time , I was going to show you ribbon today as someone asked last week but I only just remembered so that will have to wait until next week.
Last night I was assembling flowers with brads and glittering them with stickels and Tim Holtz Distress stickels ........playing about really , they don't look much sat in this old biccy tin but I hope when they are added to my work they will add a touch of glamour .
The bit of my desk you can see is fairly tidy-ish but out of shot is piles and piles of "stuff" so don't be fooled into thinking I have gone over to the "Dark side" where all desks are tidy desks coz I ain't !!!! lol

Up Up & Away !!!!

This is the card that is traveling as a stow-away in my sons suit case from London's Heathrow Airport to Boston USA where he is heading for a skiing trip, he doesn't know its there it a little surprise packed between his clothes just to wish him a good holiday and to let him know wherever he is and whatever he's doing I'm thinking about him, I know I'm silly but I'm sure he will love it.
I've used Skiing Trevor from the CC Designs Christmas kit and coloured it with Copic marker I never thought I would get him coloured as Reid kept appearing and I had to keep stopping and hiding what I was doing !! he he
The Paper is DCWV I have stitched and distressed the edges with my Heidi Swapp distress tool added lots of Silver snowflake peel-offs and some Tim Holtz Rock candy to add glitz but it doesn't show up to well in the photo
Lastly the sentiment stamp is from SU

Stamptacular Flower Power Challenge

This week at the Stamptacular Sunday challenge the theme is "Flower Power" !! so I made this card for the challenge , its going to be a birthday card for a friend .
I used one of my Sizzix flower dies and the stamps are from Stampin'up as is the white ink I used to stamp them.
I also used a Cuttlebug embossing folder on the large die cut.
The printed card I printed out from Pink petitcoat and joined the flowers together with an extra large eyelet from WeRMemory Keepers
Lastly the ribbon is from MayArts

"Scene" My Kitchen ??!

This week over at Susie & Vikki‘s Christmas Club challenge blog the theme is "Christmas Food" we hope you can come over and join us for Christmas dinner or some other Christmas goodies.
I used Die cuts to make this card, both sentiment stamps are from SU as is the punch and I stitched the edge on my sewing machine .
I decorated the hanging mugs with peel-offs so I could join in the challenge at Bah-humbug this week but I have to say that I'm not a big fan off peel-offs I guess you either love them or you don't

Make a little wish

I've been busy doing nothing this weekend , well I haven't had a moment to spare but haven't really done anything I just don't know where the hours have gone, I spent some quality time with my eldest son Reid yesterday as he goes off to the USA this week for a skiing trip I'm going to miss him and worry about him until he returns on the 8th and I'm sure my younger son Woody is going to be really bored without big brother around too so I will be chief entertainer , I can't see a lot of crafting being done unless Woody is included.
Anyway here is my creation for today sweet soft spring colours and both my favourite colours actually pink & green.
The Card I used is from SU and the die cuts are from my shop Die cut Dreams .
The stamp is a hÄnglar and I coloured her with Copic markers.
All the little embellishments and the flowers, sentiment etc are from K&Company Marcella Dimensionals.

Yes she turned up in the mail this morning I have quickly coloured one image so you can see just how fab the loving couple look in colour.
Apparently she stopped off to pick-up a sweet violinist angel to play at the wedding (no I'm not mad see the post below to see what I'm on about) and they had to stop off at Starbucks for a coffee ....not a glass of wine like the naughty Dawn suggested in her comment, tut tut Dawn Tilda is tee-total didn't you know ?!!! lol

Plain & Simple

Morning all I have been itching to play with my new Stampin'up goodies and I found a few challenges today that suit this style, I know its a lot different to what I normally create but they say a change is as good as a rest .
All the ink, stamps and punch used here is from SU the die cuts are from my shop Die cut Dreams and I also used a cuttlebug folder.

Oops I did it again !!!

No stamping again !!! Just a little bunny in a basket recipe I rustled up with some trusty old die cuts with a little dash of chalk, throw in a few Prima flowers, a sprinkling of brads, top with a bow and serve on a doilie and there you have it a lovely Bunny Rabbit stew !!! lol
No I haven't been at the wine !!

Spring is in the Air for Easter Bunny Tilda

This Tilda stamp is one of my favourite at the moment, its so versatile , obviously its from the Easter collection but it can also be used for new baby cards, children's birthday cards and I'm sure I could find other uses for it if I pushed myself !! lol
The Flowers I have used here are from Tabby crafts and I have coloured Tilda with Copic markers and the die cuts are from my shop Die cut Dreams
I hope you like this card its not my normal colour combo but I do like the fresh citrus look of it and its nice to have a change from your norm sometimes.

WOYDW & A Bit Extra !!

Creative mind = Messy desk !!! lolAnd to enable one to create one needs lots of stash !!! I'm already in the swing on things today its only 8.30am and have been crafting 2 hours couldn't sleep I have so much to do today and so many ideas I needed to get any early start , as you can see from my desk I have one or 2 things on the go nothing changes I'm still working in a mess but you see its my creative mind that does it !! lol well that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Well I must get on so I can have time to play later and visit all the other desks around the globe that join in Whats on your desk Wednesday.

Bit of a Change .........

No stamping on this card just felt like a bit of a change so went back to my roots where I started crafting , Die cuts were my first love of course I wouldn't swap them for my beloved stamps now ...no way, but I have always been a greedy girl I want to keep my cake and eat it !!! lol and I also think sometimes stamps and die cuts can look good together
Right I've had my dinner ...off to get a yogurt now !! see told you I was a greedy girl !!! lol

Mid Week Mini Candy Kit Extra

No its not Friday again !! lol I just decided to give little extra mini candy kit this week , Yesterday my CC Designs kit arrived from ATS so while inking them up to stamp a few for Moi I though I would stamp one extra of each to make a little kit as an extra commenter's candy, it will still end next Monday and the rules as the same as always, BTW this is not replacing Fridays treat so don't forget to come back for that.
I have 8 stamped images one of each image (as always stamped with Mementos black ink on light weight concord card)stamped on ovals and I have also added a handful of little Prima flowers from my "I got flowers" jar just to add a little colour.
So I will leave you with my RULES in case you are new to my blog I'll just point out that this is for regular commenter's only as a little treat so please do NOT advertise it on your blog

Angel in the Bath

Over at the DCD challenge blog this week our theme is "New Beginnings" so I made this sweet Baby card using Baby Tilda stamp from Magnolia its quite an old stamp although I haven't used it much at all, but I think its so cute I will certainly be using it again soon.
I coloured her with Copic markers and layered the image onto a white Doily and the die cuts are from my shop Die cut Dreams.
I gave it a little stitching detail and finished off with an embossed Prima flower topped with a felt flower, the cloth sentiment is from Inspirables.

Ooh-la-la you want Moi !!!!

Morning ladies another Monday morning and yes its lovely and sunny down here in Gosport, after all that rain over the weekend its about time the sun showed her face again.
Still at least while it rained I was able to craft my heart out !!! he he
Enough small talk its time for me to spill the bean and tell you that Anne & Wendi Have asked me to join their Design team over at the Ooh La La Challenge ,
When Anne first asked me I did say "you girls don't know what your letting yourselves in for coz you don't know how cheeky I am"
But apparently they had read my blog and still wanted me !!! lol So I'm thrilled to announce I am on their team and not only that I get to work with all the Fabulous Ooh La La creations products which you can purchase from the Oh-la-la Creations on-line shop, go check it out girls you'll love them.
The Ooh La La Challenge runs every 2 weeks, it's a very popular challenge the last challenge had over 300 entries, I myself used to play about 6 times per challenge always asking is it ok to enter one more time and I was always told the more the merrier, so I hope you will come over and join in the fun.

Spring Tilda is ...."The Bee's Knees"

Evening all !!! I've had a great crafty afternoon while watching a couple of movies and then a nice soak in the bath so I'm now nice and relaxed and I have a card to show you, I coloured this image a while ago with all intention of making a card for a previous challenge but I was to slow and missed the dead-line so I put the circle in my "Work in progress" box for another time
Well today is the day !! I saw that my blog buddy Pam used the very same Masked images today (in lovely traditional colours)and her easel card is to die for so after taking inspiration from Pam I got out my coloured image and whipped up a card , I hope you like it .

To make this card I coloured Sweet Tilda sitting on her jar with Copic Markers, she is stamped and layered on die cuts from my shop Die cut Dreams.
I die cut the bumble bee with a Quickutz die, from Stampin'up textured card the grey base card and the sentiment stamp is also from Stampin'up.
The flower and the gem is Petaloo box blends, I also added pink polka dot buttons and a bow
Oh yes and stitched the edges to give a little extra detail.

Easter Bunny Trims the Tree ...........

Spring is in the air for Tilda

As promised I made a card with one of the same Tilda images that's in my Commenter's Candy this week, isn't she a doll !! I coloured her with copic markers.
I also used die cuts from my shop Die cut Dreams.
The ribbon is from MayArts , the heart clip is from Making Memories, the 4 snaps I used in the corners are from WeR Memory Keepers.
The base card is SU Kraft card and the blue textured card is also by Stampin'up.
To give a finishing touch I stitched the edges on the sewing machine.

Tilda's Easter Birthday

Morning all, hope you are all having a fab day the sun is shinning and although its still chilly its a lovely day down here on the south coast of Britain.
I got my new Magnolia Easter stamps the other day (Bit later but worth the wait) isn't Tilda lovely...... I swear she gets cuter each time Magnolia release a new set and she never loses her sparkle.
Here I have made an Easter theme Birthday card, again today not my normal colour combo but I have been experimenting with different colours this week as I fancied a change from pink pink pink !! he he .
I coloured Tilda with Copic markers and roughed up her edges with the Tim Holtz Distress tool.
The blue and the yellow Textured card stock is from Stampin' up I have become addicted to using this in my cards now its a little more expensive than normal card but worth every penny.
The embossed polka dot DP is MME Wild asparagus and I have zig-zag stitched the edge to give detail.
The Happy Birthday stamp is from Stampin'up and I finished off by adding 2 coordinating WeR Memory Keepers Snaps with the Big bite tool.
I followed the great sketch over at Just Magnolia challenge its by Bev and its a sketch I will be using again & again, its simple and clean and I didn't even feel the need to add flowers or any embellishments.
