The Truth is Out There !!! & A Candy Girl

Hi Hope you've had a great weekend , here we go with this weeks winners post, I left it a bit late tonight sorry about that girls.
The lie (which is the right answer!! ) was #3 "Garry is my 3rd husband".....OH NO HE'S NOT !! lol, Garry is my second husband, my 1st husband /father of my children sadly passed away when the boys little so Garry is #2 and there's not gonna be a 3rd !! lol I'm looking after Garry, I doubt I'll find another man who's as interested in craft as much as him or one who will do my die cutting for me , bless him!!
All the other statements were true;
You all know I love Tilda.
I did diet in 1991 and lose 11 stone 5lb's then got married (the 1st time)and my weight goes up down up up down up up !!!lol no willpower
My grandma and her mother (My great grandma) both lived to 98 years of age it seem the women in my family have longevity on their side let hope I do too !!
My first car was a brand new VW Polo in 1986.....boring !!
And sadly I do have Asthma like my mum.

Simply Summer Shoes

Hi Girls another fab sunny day and this time at the Ooh La La Challenge blog this fortnight the theme is "Simply Summer" here on my DT card I have used a Floral shoe image from the "Shoes in bloom"CD this as you may have guessed by now is my favourite CD it has so many lovely floral shoes and sentiments and is available from Oh-la-la Creations on-line shop

One I Made Earlier !!!

Morning girls I thought I would show you something I made a while ago (with the help of my first husband) without the aid of any die cuts from my shop Die cut Dreams !!!lol
This is my grown up son Reid, OMG he makes me feel old, it seems like only yesterday he was a baby and now look at him.
Yesterday he went across to Gunwharf Quays on the boat with his friend Lianne to buy his first suit 4 hours and £200 later he came home laden with bags to give me a fashion show ...........he looks so grown up and he's only 16 (17 in September)!!! I'm so proud of him and so would his dad be.
Well that my proud mum bit done....sorry I had to do it as this is one of the two best thing I ever made , it's just a shame there's no challenges he'll fit today !!! lol

Fit For Princess Anya !!!

Well what a beautiful day its been again, lets hope summers here to stay now I really love this weather.
Another Greetings farm card today here I used one of the lovely stamps I lost (Luckily I still have a few images left) I coloured her with Copic markers added a bit of wacky stitching, a Crystal brad and a jewel encrusted Princess crown silk patch and some flowers to make this sassy card fit for any princess even if I do say so myself !!! lol

Totally Special Anya

Hi girls , I'm off to the Paper mill shop in a while then down the beach where I've been most of this week so far, sitting in the sun crafting, normally I sit down there colouring but this week I have been playing with wire and glass beads and the time has just flown past in fact yesterday I over done it a little and burnt the side of my neck and one shoulder so I'll have to be careful today.
Anyway before I head off here's a card for you, its the sweet Anya stamp that was part of the scrapbook kit isn't she a doll, I've coloured her with Copic markers.
The embossed glittered DP is from DCWV Kitchen stack, flowers from Prima , Glittered brads from Doodlebug Designs , The sentiment is from Autumn leaves.

Life is a Fairy Tale

Morning ladies another lovely sunny day down here in Gosport, here's bit of a different style card for me today .
To make this one I used a quote stamp from Verses Rubber stamps called "Life is a fairy tale"
the swirl stamp in the background is from Stemplegled and I stamped it in Tim Holts spun sugar pink Distress ink.
The flower I made myself from silk rose petals that I got from the wedding section on eBay I stapled them together with my Tim Holtz tiny attacher tool and then added the big pearl button to the centre , the glass branch I also made myself , hope you like it

Sweet Pea Fairy Friends

Just a quick card before I have to go make dinner , Here I used a lovely Sweet Pea Stamp and coloured with Copic markers , the stitching was achieved with a Daisy D roller Rub-on very easy to use.
The die cut heart frame is from Sizzix, no sure where the sentiment is from as it was already stamped , the beautiful DP is from Cosmo cricket "Delovely" its nice bright and summery.
The button is BG and the twine is SU.

Its all White now !!

This week over at Die cut Dreams Christmas Club Challenge we want you to make a card that is mainly white you can use a dash of colour but that's it just a dash, we want to see a creation with lots of white space.
I have used lovely Tilda as Lucia , what an angel she is...... I coloured her with Copic Markers. The Lovely beaded pin is made by my friend Vikki from Posh Pins & Charms it adds a touch of elegance to this card.
I have also used a Cuttlebug folder to add texture to the layers and break up the white space.
The sentiment stamp & punch is from SU and the lace/ribbon I found on eBay.
Lastly the lovely sparkly gems are from MAMBI, if you could see the sparkle you would agree its worth paying the extra for the great quality they are so lovely.
I made this card with my new plate card & stand kit that I designed , you will soon be able to buy the kit in my shop Die cut Dreams the kit will consist of 15 pieces to make 5 plate cards all you need to do is decorate the front surface in your own style, in the kit you will receive 5 x 6" scalloped circle and 5 x 5" plain edge circles to layer or 3D mount onto the scalloped circle as I have here with foam pads to give dimension, the kit also contains the 5 scored die cuts card stands, I designed the card stand die about 3 years ago to go with my book card and a couple of months ago I decided to makes large circle dies to go with it to make my version of a plate card.
Hopefully this time I won't have my ideas copied, as last week I had a number of emails urging me to look at someone selling die cuts on eBay, when I looked I was very surprised to see someone I had once thought of as a friend who I met through blogging had used their Pazzle cutting machine to try to compete with me, selling die cuts exactly the same shape as one of my new shape die cuts, I wouldn't mind so much but this person has a warning on their listing telling people not to copy her work/ Designs !!! lol what a joker can you believe it, I'm only posting this here to let them know I have seen the poor quality copies so have dozens of other people who have emailed and phoned me, When things like this happen its so nice to know just how many lovely caring friends I have out there thanks guys for letting me know.
Anyway this new kit will be in my shop later this week I hope you like them

Christmas at DCD

I'm back and in the mood to craft !!! and get back to entering all those lovely challenges out there !! thanks again for all your get well wishes and cards its nice to know you care, thank you.
This week over at Die cut Dreams Christmas Club Challenge we have some changes so please pop over to read this weeks sad news, the theme for this weeks challenge is a Sketch by our Vikki, this is my interpretation of it.
I've used the lovely CC Designs Birgitta Santa coloured with Copic markers and added Ultra fine transparent Art institute glitter to her hat and wings , the glittered DP is from MME, the stitching I did with a Daisy D roller, for the distressed edges I used Tim Holtz old Old paper ink and my Distrezz-it-all Machine, the beautiful sparkly pink gems are by Doodlebug Designs, the sentiment stamp is by SU and last but not least the die cuts are from my shop Die cut Dreams

I made this Paper Bag book for my Angel friend Jo who has a lot to put up with me as a friend, she emails me and it always takes me no less than 2 week to email her back !! I'm terrible but for some reason she's always there when I need a chat ......I ask myself why does she put up with me !!? sorry Jo .......I'm off to email Jo now as I'm sure its been 2 weeks since she emailed me !!

DCD Challenge

This week at Die cut Dreams challenge blog the theme is to make a Celebration card with a number on, we chose this theme because our lovely DT member Nicola is celebrating her 60th birthday this week, so Happy Birthday Nicola.
I may not be around for a couple of days I'm supposed to be resting , I finally gave in and went to the doctors yesterday as I have had this bad chesty cough for weeks now and feel very weak, I found out I have bronchitis but I have the medicine now so that should clear it up and I'll be back in no time.
