Less is more this Spring !!

Over at the Less is More Challenge this week the theme is "Spring"
This is my card for this weeks challenge , I used a 5" square card blank, and I took an extra white 5" square of white card and went round the edge with the Martha Stewart pansy round the page punch set
The sentiment I made with Making Memories rub-on Simply stated alphas which I've had for ages but was to scared to use !!! ha ha me scared of a rub-on ... its true
The little butterfly stamp is from Magnolia and I just added a little colour with Barely Banana Stampin'up pen and RV000,RV00 and RV91 Copic sketch markers.

Ooh La La - Pink Pink and more Pink

Over at the Ooh La La Challenge blog this fortnight the theme is "Pink Pink and more Pink"
Here on my DT card I have used a Floral shoe image from the "Shoes in bloom"CD this is my favourite CD it has so many lovely floral shoes and sentiments and is available from Oh-la-la Creations on-line shop
The die cuts I layered are available from my shop Die cut Dreams I run them thought a cuttlebug folder and stitched it to the image, the flowers are Aunties bloomers.
The sentiment stamp and punch I used are both from Stamping up , and the paper is from Anna Griffin

You Melt My Heart Tilda

This week over at Die cut Dreams Christmas Club Challenge we want you to "Make a Christmas card and a separate matching Tag"
I made this round scalloped card on a stand using die cuts that are available in my shop Die cut Dreams

Less is best ...............

Over at the Less is More Challenge  the theme is "One Layer" using trees or flowers
This is my card for the challenge, I'm still having trouble trying to keep my sticky little fingers away from the embellishments but I'm determined to have a go each week to see what I can learn and to see it I can improve my neatness , I usually try to cover up my shabbiness with extra distressing so this is good practise for me to try to stay clean & simple !!! ha ha
I used a Hero Arts sentiment stamp that I bought in a set from QVC it must be 5 years ago and its the first time i think its seen ink !!! lol
The flower stamp is from my favourite stamp company Magnolia and I simply added a little colour with Copic sketch markers
Lastly I used a Martha Stewart deep edge punch to create a lattice boarder to add a little simple detail

Guest @ I ♥ Promarkers

I'm Proud to be the Guest Designer over at I ♥ Promarkers challenge this week they have the theme Paper Piecing,
Not only that I'm sponsoring this weeks challenge with a prize from my shop Die cut Dreams so I hope you'll pop over and join in the fun for a chance to win, also you must see the fantastic DT work over there this week.
For my card I used this cute CC Designs stamp called Sweetheart Birgitta coloured of course with Promarkers and paper pieced her dress with K& co Smitten Glitter embossed DP. the sentiment is also from CCD.
I stamped the background with a Magnolia Butterfly stamp onto SU black card with SU white ink and mounted the whole thing on an SU pixie pink textured card base.
I also used nesties, Prima "I got flowers" centered with hot pink pearls, I made a bow from MayArts ribbon topped with a large pink gem I made a pearl glass pearl pin and added a Charm TDF !!! OMG you just got to love that big Crown ...well I do but then I think any Princess would !!! ha ha you'll be able to find them in my shop Die cut Dreams in the charms section

Less is More !!

Have you been over to see the fab new blog Less is More Challenge its run by two lovely and very talented craft ladies Chrissie and Mandi, I think this is the first challenge blog of its kind where I believe plain and simple is the name of the game, this is something I'm not good at but I always admire.
I love the cards you see made with Stampin'up products that always seem to be so clean cut, over the past 3 years I have bought a ton of Stampin'up stuff and have over 90% of the products in the current catalogue but I don't get to use them coz I'm not sure how too !! so I'm hoping to learn a little from the girls and have fun joining in the challenges along the way.
This is my card for their first challenge (although I haven't used much of my SU stash here) I used a Die-matics die/stamp set and nesties circle dies. Bazzill Swiss dots cardstock and black and white SU ink

Dream Die cut Theme @ C.R.A.F.T Challenge

Over at the C.R.A.F.T Challenge this week they want you to use Die cuts.....Well they couldn't have picked a better theme for me now could they !! ha ha.
