I've used "Ivy the Nerd" I thinks she is just so darn cut, and I made a larger than normal card for me...this one is 8" square.

Vintage Cake Tin

No card today, I've been sorting out my craftroom (still have 19 boxes to wade through and unpack!!! but I'm getting there) and my desk is clear believe it or not !! lol
I did take a little time out to make a few yummy little chocolate fairy cakes for after school (and I didn't even lick the spoon let alone eat on ...that's not to say I won't later !!! he he ) Both Reid and Woody munched though 2 each so they must be good.

..........I've finally moved !!!! yes I'm now in my brand new house and its lovely, although we're still getting sorted, unpacking boxes etc and my craftroom has ended up being the last to get sorted as Darling Garry bless him has lost the screws and fittings for all my Ikea units ....but I didn't go nuts at him as he's beaten himself up, enough over it ...poor love !! So we need to get over to Southampton and buy new fittings this week, as I'm itching to get inky again !! lol
I've not got any cards to show you but I wanted to show you the lovely flowers that arrived yesterday to welcome me to my new home from my lovely Design team girls from the Totally Tilda Challenge and the Die cut Dreams challenge blog
I'm blessed to have such fab DT's holding the fort for me while I'm taking another month off to get settled, Thank you girls and a special thanks to my the DT management team Dawn and Christine for all the extra work they are putting in to keep the challenges running smoothly, I don't know what I'd do without you, thank you.
Well I best get on, the Sky man is here at the moment putting the multi-room boxes in the boys bedrooms that should keep them quite !!! and Garry and I are off to order some new furniture this afternoon, I've gone for a neutral cream and natural wood theme all over the house but feel a splash of colour is needed to warm up the living room so we are going to have a look at a lovely pink ....yes I said pink !! ha ha, sofa and chairs see below, I'll let you know if Garry lets me get away with buying it !! he he

Pink Summer Butterflies for Tilda

Hi everyone hope you are all well, it's ages since I entered a few challenges so I thought today I'd try to kick start my mojo with a Tilda card , I used this lovely Fairly Butterfly Tilda and glittered her wings with Art Institute transparent glitter and coloured her with Copic markers.

I'm Proud to be the Guest Designer over at I ♥ Promarkers challenge this week they have the theme Black White plus one other colour, I chose this Aqua blue for a change from my usual pink I think its fresh and cool just right for a summers day.

For my card I used this cute girly hAnglar stamp from the Beach collection, coloured of course with Promarkers .

Stunned !!!!

Morning all and what a lovely day it is down here in Gosport on the south coast of the UK, the sun is shinning and the sky is a beautiful shade of blue and I'm feeling very happy...why you ask .... well to be honest although I am always overwhelmed at the kindness of my fellow crafters this morning I am totally stunned .... You might remember a couple of months I told you about a lovely British lady living in the USA that I found selling lots of yummy goodies on eBay called Ali, Ali's Store .

Anyway I have made a couple of orders from Ali store over the last couple of months and last time I ordered she very kindly offered my readers 10% off their orders that week if they mentioned my name when checking out which I thought was so kind of her.

Well this morning I have to say it was like Christmas in my house I just can't believe the kindness that arrived with our grumpy old postman !!! lol
look at the photo OMG !! this lady is one of the kindest store owners I have ever come across, I keep looking at everything and stroking it !! ha ha almost all of this is a gift from Ali , Thank you so much Ali.

Hi everyone I just wanted to thank everyone who sent me cards and gifts for my Birthday today
I feel throughly spoilt, I'm overwhelmed with everything and I'm having a lovely day which started with breakfast in bed courtesy of my lovely husband Garry who is also taking me out for a romantic meal tonight
Then I got an email from Nikki at Bunny Zoe crafts to say my lovely Totally Tilda Design Team girls had clubbed together and bought me a gift voucher for £100 which had been added to my account ...so I can go on a crafty shopping spree !!! Thank you girls xxxxxxxx

Now I really enjoyed making this one for my DT card , Trés Chic is right up my street, and this bright pink BP from the Fleur D' imagination CD / - Pink Blossom folder is perfect teamed up with Black and its available from Oh-la-la Creations on-line shop

The sentiment stamp is from my lovely friend Nicky's shop she has lots of great design stamps Stamping all day , I added lots of little Doodlebug Design smokey crystal gems seam binding and flowers from WoC, the background stamps are from Kanban and finished off with corners cut with an SU punch.

As you might know I love Stampin'Up "Stuff" and I have quite a lot of their products but I don't use them as much as I should, but since starting to join in the new "Less is More Challenge" I have been using my SU stash a bit more as I'm getting inspired by Mandi, Chrissie and the other challenge LIM entrants.
So when my lovely friend Victoria sent me the new Mini catalogue I couldn't help myself !!!! lol
My order just arrived this afternoon (and yes I spoilt myself !! ) some of which you can see in the photo above but there was so much I couldn't get it all in so see my list below, OMG they now do dies and embossing folders (by Sizzix but designs exclusive to Stampin'up) and embosslits too.
The new Seam Binding is to die for, not ........to mention the punches with matching stamps, and the new designer papers .....Ooooooh I could go on and on I'm in heaven!! ha ha

Here's my card I made for this weeks Less is More Challenge, the theme is Acetate, not the easiest of cards to photograph, it should sit on one of my die cut stands but it was impossible to get a good picture without a reflection of my ugly mug and my camera in it, so the only way was to lay it flat ....you'll have to imagine its sat on the stand.
I used 2 of my own design large dies to cut the 6" scalloped back and the 5.5" Papermania acetate overlay circle.
The bird on a branch punch, Sentiment stamp and fancy square punch are all from SU, I hope its ok for your challenge Chrissie & Mandi and I welcome your advice , thanks for another great challenge girls, you pushed me out of my box this week but I was determined to have ago and not miss a week !!! lol

The die cut giant tag I layered is available from my shop Die cut Dreams (when I re-open in June) I run it thought an embossing folder to add depth & texture

The sentiment stamp is from Stamp'in up , I added some crystal gems in a swirl for the bling and to finish off a little bow tied with some seam binding.

Last minute card for the Less is More Challenge

I added a few smokey black Doodlebug design Jewels and a little glitter (which isn't showing up well in the photo) with my glue pen to finish this simple card.

Over at the Less is More Challenge this week the theme is

"A One Layer Card with the SENTIMENT as the focus of your creation"

Only one card for this weeks theme from me as I'm busy sorting out and getting ready for my packing boxes to arrive on Thursday but don't be fooled I still sadly haven't got a moving date ...which is driving me nuts !! lol.

I used a Stempelglade stamp from the Just a note set.

A couple of strokes of colour box Q chalk ink to give a soft focus colour in the background.

Then I drew round a nestie circle die but left a little gap to stamp the WoJ flourish and add the finishing touch I added 3 tiny pink Queen & co gems

Ooh-La-La its Easter !!!!

Over at the Ooh La La Challenge blog this fortnight the theme is Easter here on my DT card I have used Cracked paint effect BP from the "Shoes in bloom"CD this is my favourite CD, I printed it out on white card in several colours and die cut the Eggs from it, it's available from Oh-la-la Creations on-line shop

Hi everyone hope you are all well and looking forward to a bright and sunny day wherever you are.
Over at the Totally Paper craft Challenge the theme this week is "One for the boys" my mate Sue
asked me if I'd make a guest designer card for the challenge as I'm this weeks sponsor so I made this boys card using the adorable Sugar Nellie Thomas, coloured with Copics and I also used Hop scotch K&Company DP.

Less is more for My Friend

Over at the Less is More Challenge this week the theme is a sketch, now if you know me well you'll know I hardly ever participate in sketch challenges as they are my least favourite theme, but I liked the look of this one so with inspiration from Mandi and Chrissie and the other entries I have been to see I set about to have a go
I am quite pleased with my card which I have made for a my friend Mandy who I've known since I was 15 ...........golly that 30...something !! years ago my how time flies !! but I still only feel about 19 now, unfortunatly I don't look 19 !! unless your talking stone !!! ha ha ha
I used lilac Bazzill card stamped on with Stampin'up "Spot on" wheel, a Fancy EK punch and I cut the butterfly with a stampin'up punch the body of the butterfly is cut with a QK die and the sentiment stamp is by Stampabilities.

Less is more for Men !!?

Hi everyone hope you are all well today, what a gorgeous morning the sun has been shining and its been quite warm I think spring may have sprung !!
This week over at the Less is More Challenge the theme is Make a "Male" card which I normally find quite a task and I avoid wherever I can !! lol but with inspiration from Mandi & Chrissie and popping round to comment on other entries in this challenge that also gave me lots of inspiration I managed to make 3 card for male family birthdays that are coming up in the next month.
And as Chrissie and Mandi have so many entries to comment on and I wanted to make a few cards I decided to put them all in one post so they only have to visit me once instead of 3 times.
For my first Male card above I started with a 5" square white card blank, I used a quickutz die to make the little VW Beetle car cut in Bazzil card and I mounted it on a couple of square mats cut with nestie dies the sentiment is from Pink Petticoat and I used 2 SU punches to layer it.

For my second card above I started with a 4" sq card blank, I used the same QK car die but instead of cutting with the nestie die I used it to draw round to frame the card the simple sentiment is an SU stamp

And my last card I made is 5" sq, I used just 2 stamps from the "Sense of Time" Stampin'up stamp set I stamped the clock on Biscuit crumb card with Biscuit crumb ink cut it out with a circle nestie die and layered it on another slightly bigger nestie circle die cut cut in Baja Breeze I stamped the cogs directly onto the card blank with Baja Breeze ink, and used the same SU sentiment again.
Everything I used to make this card is from Stamping up I think this is a first for me not to reach for "Other Stuff"!!! I was very controlled !! lol

Lost Contacts ............Help Me Please !!

Hi blogging buddies ........as some of you know over 2 weeks ago my laptop died on me and as I have cover with the Tech Guy company they came and took it away for repair ....well yesterday my beloved laptop came home with a new hard drive in it and the old hard drive in a doggie bag !!! so I've lost everything that was on it.
The most annoying thing is though, I bought myself an external hard drive to back up a year ago but hadn't bothered to back up my laptop to it since the end of last summer so all my photos etc and all the images/ downloads that I bought since then are lost I could cry, all my Sugar Nellie images and loads from Whimsey and I even bought 2 or 3 sets from Pink Petticoat just a while before and hadn't even used them :( so let my bad luck (and stupidness !!) be a lesson to you girls ....Back up Regularly
Not only that I lost my IncrediMail programme with all my emails and contacts and I had stored all my snail mail addresses in a folder on there etc
So if you are someone that emails me or that I email or I had your snail mail address for orders or samples (or just for fun) or phone number please could you email me at kutnkut@tiscali.co.uk so I'll then be able to save your contact details again

More Less is More

I made this card above with the same shoe stamp as the card I made yesterday only difference is today I stamped on coloured card instead of white so I don't need to colour in the shoes and I found the perfect sentiment to go with blue shoes !!! instead of a pearl like I added to yesterdays card today I added a tiny blue gem to the shoe bow.

Now I made this card above as my 3rd and last entry for this weeks theme at the Less is More Challenge
I thought I'd take Tilda off the page !! and as the theme is one layer I didn't use Copic Markers (as they sometimes soak into the card and are visible from the other side) I used Prisma pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend , as you can see I'm not good at colouring with this medium, I bought over 80 pencils a couple of years ago and I've used them .....well this is the 3rd time !! I have no patience with them.

Less is More Style !!

Over at the Less is More Challenge this week the theme is "Off the edge" this is my second try this week.
This time I used a a sentiment stamp by inkadinkado and the sassy shoe stamp that I took off the page is by Impression Obsession , I coloured the shoes with Barely Banana stampin'up pen and just added one tiny little black pearl on the shoe bow.
I've been out today for a look round my new house with the building manager, the house is still not finished yet but I've got to say I loved what I saw and I'm assured it will be ready to move in 6 to 8 weeks time and its gonna take me that long to get packed up ...so I'm gonna be busy

Chipboard for Tilda

To make my Door plaque I die cut the base shape in chipboard and then covered it both sides with die cut card, I also die cut the crown and painted it with Rangers silver pearl paint Dabber , I cut a piece of deep purple velvet to back the crown and embellished lavishly with lots of jewels
Tilda is stamped on the oval die cut and coloured with Copic Markers, The Princess sentiment stamp is from Delish Designs.
I'm entering this into the Magnolia stamp Lovers Challenge they have the theme of Die cuts this week.

Don't Be a Square coz "Less is More!!"

Its a lovely bright day down here in Gosport and although I still have a stinking cold the sunshine is making me feel better , let hope spring is on the way.
Over at the Less is More Challenge this week the girls have another fantastic challenge for us, Chrissie and Mandi want us to use 3 Squares on our cards
This is my card for this weeks theme not a great photo its a bit dark but its the best I'm gonna get this week as I still don't have my laptop and I don't have my photo enhancing software
I used a a 5" square white base card and cute the squares with nestie dies the pink is cut from Bazzill swiss dot card and the grey is cut from SU DP the flower is Prima and the flock brad is from Doodlebug Design
The sentiment is from Stampin'up not sure which set as I keep a few I use a lot in a basket on my desk when I really should pop them back in their boxes ..... naughty habit !! he he
